My Journey

My interest in painting began in childhood, but I started to seriously dedicate myself to this art form eight years ago. Watercolor captivated me with its unpredictability and the possibilities that colored water on cotton paper offers. Every new project is a challenge and an opportunity for me to discover something new.

In the early days of my childhood, I was initially fascinated by my grandmother’s makeup palettes with eyeshadows. The sight of the colors stirred a special feeling in me that I cannot describe.

My first serious encounter with watercolor happened in elementary school during an art lesson. At that time, my teacher, Mrs. Danuška H., noticed my interest and gave me a lot of watercolor paper so I could practice at home. I will always be grateful to her for giving me this opportunity, as I didn’t even know about art supply stores, haha.

Thus began my journey into the world of watercolor painting. 🙂

Why Watercolor?

Watercolor is a unique artistic technique that combines control and spontaneity. Colors mix freely on the paper, creating beautiful transitions and textures, which also influence color control. I enjoy exploring different ways to create depth, light, and movement in paintings with colored water.
